    What is a conlang relay?

Rules for the Conlang Relay Game by Sally Caves is a good reference, but are followed only on the Conlang list (whence originates Conlang relays, but anyway). Our rules for Piirelays are a little different (more loose, it seems). This is more or less how it goes:

The first participant—the moderator (the one who starts a relay and controls it)—takes a text (preferably short: a few lines long, maybe a paragraph) and translates it to thei conlang. They send the translation and a description of the language's grammar to the next participant, who has a predesignated period of time (usually either a week or two days) to translate the text to their conlang—these translations are sent to the next participant and the moderator—and English—this translation is sent only to the moderator. A short grammar and vocab explanation is composed to go with the translations (to the next participant and the moderator). Each participant does this until, finally, the last signed-up participant treats the moderator as the last participant, sending the relay text and grammar details to him/her without the English translation. Once the moderator has translated the text to their conlang and English, the last participant may send the moderator his/her English translation. The moderator then organises a webpage with all the details of the progression of the relay, similar to any of the sites listed below.
